Apply Real-World Case Studies to Clinical Practice: Analyze case studies and visual examples that demonstrate the practical benefits of dental endoscopy, and how it can elevate your clinical expertise and patient care.
Meet Kristen
Kristen Ranaldo, RDH, BSDH
Kristen Ranaldo attended dental hygiene school right out of high school and graduated from Farmingdale State College in New York in 2015. She brings a decade of clinical experience, the majority of which has been spent in periodontal practices. Graduating at the top of her class, Kristen earned multiple honors, including the prestigious Golden Scaler Award for exceptional talent and clinical skill.
Now in her tenth year using dental endoscopy, Kristen is also IALD Millennium PerioLase Hygiene Certified and Guided Biofilm Therapy Certified. After being introduced to dental endoscopy early in her career, she quickly realized she couldn’t practice without it. Kristen strongly believes that, with proper implementation, dental endoscopy is a revolutionary tool that could benefit every dental practice and significantly improve how we treat the high prevalence of periodontal disease.
Due to her consistent and predictable clinical outcomes, Kristen was appointed Clinical Director for PerioView. In this role, she trains dental professionals across the country on the most minimally invasive and definitive methods to treat all stages of periodontal disease. Through her use of dental endoscopy, she has helped countless patients overcome gingivitis and periodontitis, and has diagnosed root fractures, subgingival caries, and more — conditions that are often missed without advanced visualization.
Kristen emphasizes the importance of post-treatment care, including meticulous home hygiene routines and regular periodontal maintenance visits, to ensure long-term health and stability for her patients.
